We had over 200 visitors for our school places in 2025. We will be holding tours for our new 2026 cohort in the autumn term- see dates below:

Monday 13th October 9.30am

Friday 17th October 9.30am

Thursday 23rd October 9.30am

Wednesday 5th November 6.00pm

Thursday 6th November 9.30am

Friday 21st November 9.30am

Thursday 27th November 9.30am

Thursday 8th January 9.30am

If you would like to book one of the above tours, kindly call the school office on 01206 845887 or email office@highwoodsprimary.com

During the tour, you will be given a tour of the school by our pupils- this is an opportunity to see every classroom and the whole school. You will also have a chance to see examples of work produced by pupils, and meet staff- including the Headteacher and senior leaders.

We keep our tours to roughly groups of ten families so that it is not too overwhelming and you have a chance to properly view our school. In the meantime, have a read of our latest Ofsted inspection report and view this website.

Some feedback from visitors on our recent school tour:

'I just wanted to send some feedback in regards to the school tour we had on Wednesday. We were really humbled by the two pupils that we were teamed up with. We especially liked that they weren't the most confident children in the school. It was obvious to see how proud they were of the school and we came away feeling the same. As I walked to the car, I said I would be really proud if they were my children. One of my colleagues from work was on the tour for her child as well, and she has said to me this week that she loved the positive nurturing feel the school gave her'.

We hope that this website gives you a flavour of what our school stands for but if you need any further support, we are only a phone call away. Even better, come and see us and we would be happy to show you around or discuss anything with you.

We are immensely proud of our school.  It is a wonderful place to learn, a great place to work.  It brings people together and builds relationships, both for adults and our children.  Our parents work closely with us to ensure their children get the best education possible - this is fundamental to successful learning.
